Nice moment

This tickled me. Sitting around with SOF listening to music. looked over and she was singing along to Wilco's "Shot in the Arm." Singing with great relish, I might add.

If you knew her when her music tastes were not nearly this good....

Anyway, it makes for a nice evening.

I could just see that scene in my head -- it's really a nice picture.

I don't know Wilco, but this is the tune that came to mind when reading your description:

"Shot in the arm!
and you're to blame.
Darlin' you give luh-uh-uve
A bad name."

Practically the same thing.

Dude, you just quoted Bon Jovi in a post on Wilco. Kind of like citing the similarities between Yanni and Bach. :)

But this just shows how out of touch I am with popular music, either from the '80s or the present. I knew that tune, but I didn't know it was Bon Jovi. In fact, I'm such a nerd that my recognition of it comes mostly from playing it in high school band. You can't much more dweebish than that.

Anglican's Bon Jovi invocation reminds me of the old Joe Piscopo as Sinatra sketch on SNL. "Frank Sings Tunes the Young People Will Enjoy." And so does SOF. Apparently, Anglican, you've got to catch her live -- I hear its an amazing show.
