Sigh. Kirk Cameron connects Darwin to Hitler

So I have to post this rather funny and biting video. Not sure who the woman is in the video, and perhaps it is her accent that makes it rather funny, but still, she makes some good points.

Is it bad that my first thought was "At least he's only comparing a dead person to Hitler"?

Here's part 1 of Thunderf00t v Ray Comfort, for context's sake.

Didn't Ben Stein try to make the same connection. There is no doubt that the now mostly defunct theory of Social Darwinism had a strong influence on the worst Nazi programs and policies. That being said, Darwin did not come up with these theories and even spoke out against them. It is unfortunate that his name has been associated with them.

Kirk Cameron gives plenty of false assertions, so I don't feel the need to beat a dead horse. One bad point that she makes is that liberties come from people or the "Constitution", not God. Bullshit. One need not believe in God to have liberties, but we have liberty by virtue of us being a free people. Some would argue that this comes from a creator, but it is not a necessary prerequisite. They just exist. If rights came from other people, then they can be withdrawn at any time. This is the reason that they are often referred to as inalienable. Just a pet peeve of mine.

Kirk Cameron...celebrity #2065 that I can ignore.
