That tells us a lot, and his recent quote that he "misses being pampered" does as well.

Unfortunately the black guy and the rest of them are doing a poor job defending themselves, or their accomplishments. Ug.

Nice pic! Where'd you find it?

Some guy posted it on Facebook.

Well said, Bob. I can be excited about a fair number of good things that have been done, but the list of things that he promised and have stalled is a little too long.

Two points (or more). Steve, I don't think that was what Bob actually said. He said that Obama and his people have done a bad job of actually defending his accomplishments, and then you took that to mean that he hadn't done what he promised.

That is true too, especially on issues of transparency, but the list of accomplishments from this first two years is pretty impressive, and it is amazing how many of them are not acknowledged. He is still tagged with stuff that Bush did, and not given credit for the good things he did.

And of course, we have people talking armed revolution at Tea Parties because this particular black guy extended healthcare to more Americans. Ugh.

I do understand what Bob said and was making an additional point. I work in disability law and he (along with the head of the SSA, a Bush appointee) has done a tremendous amount to improve benefits for people that are disabled. You don't hear anything about this.

Perhaps I misunderstood your comment. And I am still a little unclear on your last sentence. Can you say more?

Basically, I am saying that I am disappointed that he didn't do some of the things he said he was going to do and that he continued some of the Bush administrations unConstitutional policies.

No, I understood and agree with that. These are the sentences I didn't follow:

I work in disability law and he (along with the head of the SSA, a Bush appointee) has done a tremendous amount to improve benefits for people that are disabled. You don't hear anything about this.

A few things. The current head of the SSA was appointed by Bush and he has done a fantastic job at improving the SSA, so I wanted to give some tangential credit to him. Obama has done a great deal to improve the process in which people are evaluated for SSD. I think he should get credit for this and it is unfortunate that we don't hear about this.
