The Tea Party is not serious about policy

None of the Tea Partiers are. Rand Paul wants to build a border fence that is electric and underground. Steve Benen wondered how we would get the illegals to wear the shock collars that work so well with some dogs. :)

But again, the conservative right has given us a crazy candidate who cannot and should not govern. Sharon Angle in Nevada is another.

Could you please explain to me how this "underground electric fence" would work? I grew up with horses. Our fence was electric. It worked by passing a current between the person or animal touching the wire who was GROUNDED.

An underground fence would have to ground itself out.

Isn't this guy supposed to be a doctor? Didn't they teach the science of electricity at some point in his education?

If this "Doctor" was looking at my eyeballs, I would run for the hills.

There was some pro-Harry Reid campaign literature on my door this morning. On the back of the flyer, there was a page of some of Angle's stands on issues. I know, the source is quite biased, but still, Angle is a complete whackjob. I cannot see how people voted for her in the primary or how they would even think to vote for her in the election against Reid. They will of course and Reid stands a good chance of losing. It is scary though
