What do I keep saying?

Tom Delay accuses Pelosi and Reid of treason. See? Conservatives can and do this regularly. Bush undermines our ability to defend our nation and no one questions his patriotism.

No one may question his patriotism, but I have heard him called all sorts of things from coward to war criminal.

Before you reply, I am not saying that this gives the ok to Delay to call Pelosi and Reid treasonous. Delay is wrong. I think Reid may have chosen his words better, but he certainly has a point and he has a right to say what he wants. Pelosi meeting with foreign gov'ts is something that republicans have also done. Delay is either ingnorant or a hypocrite.

I agree, Steve. I would also say that criticizing the President or Reid or Pelosi is, of course, well within bounds. They are public servants (though I think Bush has forgotten that). But the constant use of patriotism as a weapon is simply tiring.

Speaking of Bush, btw, did anyone notice that he continually criticizes "politicians" telling the Generals what to do when that is exactly what he has done in this war?
