Somehow I missed this post from Zalm last year. Or maybe I didn't. Either way, it is a good one. Last year, our President declared a week in October, "National Character Counts Week" and then the next week signed the Military Commissions Act of 2006 into law. The very same one that removed Habeas review and certainly encouraged torture.
Character, it seems, means something different to Bush.
