Where do you suggest I go?
If I am looking for my democracy, where do you suggest I go? To the leadership of the Republican party who uses intimidation and divisiveness to govern? If I am looking for my belief in the goodness of my country, where do you suggest I go? Should I look to the President who hires thugs and traitors?If I am looking for my faith, where do you suggest I go? Should I look to the religious leaders who prioritize gay bashing over feeding the poor? Or who are more concerned about swear words than global warming? And if I am looking to pray, where would you suggest I go? Should I pray to the War God of George Bush? Or can I pray to the Prince of Peace even if he is, like the Geneva Convention, quaint?

Hallelujah, Christian Prophet - that kind of prophecy is exactly what the world needs right now.
When what we have in the White House is a cabal of sinister, baby-killing, child-raping psychopaths (that last part is the merest speculation)we need a prophet like Jeremiah or Isaiah to come up and lay the smack down on the American People. Truth is, if you're gonna look like the other way while your "leaders" sanction torture and illegal wars, you deserve to see your country collapse into total economic chaos. It made sense back then, and it still makes sense today.

Tahoma activist, you may not have actually read what the prophet had to say. One of his "prophecies" or "words from the Holy Spirit" was that democrats are divisive while Republicans only want solutions.
That isn't the Holy Spirit talking at all.
BTW, what kind of dog is that? We like dogs and labor activists here at Streak's Blog.
I find it troubling that anyone would presume to speak for the Holy Spirit. Where do you suggest I go to express my concern?
