Best first lines of a song

So what is your choice for best first line?

I like this from Wilco's "Humminbird:"
His goal in life was to be an echo

Ok, now you.

From Pedro the Lion's "Rapture":

"This is how we multiply/pity that it's not my wife"

Or is that considered two lines?

It qualifies. Of course, since the entries are slim, I am not sure who will get the WaterPik.

Ok, Streak- Here's my go- not necessarily in order of favorites. These are ones that grab me from the start of the song. I'm not sure if some of them count as first lines but here goes:
1. Hello, Is there anybody in there? (Floyd)
2. She plays castanets, she works without a net, I like her better when she walks away (Alejandro)
3. John Brown went off to war to fight on a foreign shore- His mama sure was proud of him (Dylan)
4. Look atcha, yeah take a look in the mirror, now tell me whatcha see (Steve E)
5. What if I told you it was done with mirrors? (Steve Again)
6. Purple haze, all in my brain (Duh)
7. I hurt myself today to see if I still feel (9 inch nails/J Cash)

This just scratches the surface off the top of my head.

Now we are talking. Why didn't I think of Steve Earle or Alejandro lyrics. Dammit.

WJ, you have leeway here. After all, much like the rules for the America's Cup, ours are written on an Etch-i-Sketch.
