There are just so many amazingly stupid things in this interview. Like when Cooper asks her if she realizes that we are supporting a Muslim government in Afghanistan, and she says that is why we have to "do these things," and that means supporting peaceful people. But those building the Mosque? Dumb.
My favorite is her saying that we are not fighting radical Christians, but radical Muslims, and "i am not running for a popularity contest in New York, or DC or on TV. I am running for the people of district 2, North Carolina, who are good, hard working Christian people." Cooper: "What about Muslims, do you want their vote?" Idiot: "Absolutely, I want everyone's vote. As a nurse," I have taken care of every race, creed or something. God, she is so bigoted and so fucking dumb.

So, what she is saying is that she wants to run for Congress and do something to stop this "Mosque", which will violate the constitution. Wouldn't that violate the oath of office?
Seriously, she is so dumb, I am not sure she has a clue. I love that last exchange about defending her hardworking Christian voters, but then wanting Muslims to vote for her too? Does she really think that after equating all Muslims with terrorists, they are going to vote for her?

The woman seemed unable to be specific and answer any thing with erudition and any sort of talent. Unfocused rage might win her an election but how on earth can she govern?
Oh and, BTW Cooper is correct, the Vatican is built over a former Pagan site that contained a circus and cemetery. The National Cathedral of Mexico is on top of an Aztec Temple, over and over Christian Churches in Europe are on top of Pagan spots.

It's actually quite different, in that the are proposing it be built over the former site of a Burlington Coat factory, not a former religious site of any type...unless we are talking about the God of Money.

I am aghast. Inadvertently while making my larger point, I conceded some of the point made (or at least appeared to be made) by our somewhat less than articulate Republican candidate.
You are correct, it is not like Christians have done, in a couple of ways. One part being that it is NOT on Ground Zero, and the other is that it is has a board of directors that has people of other faiths as members. Last I checked, the Vatican (as well as other Christian 'triumph Churches') did not.
