Photo with a thousand words from Hitting Bedrock

And probably unfair to Bush. But during a photo op for MLK day, Bush hugs a child and, well, you can see:

What's up with him and looming? He did the same thing to Angela Merkle (Chancellor of Germany!), except he tried to give her the old shoulder rub, too.

Kinda glad he didn't try that with the kids. Yuck.

Unfair to Bush! What about the poor kid?

I actually feel sorry for him. My daughter is very outgoing, but sometime she will react odd to someone that she really doesn't know well.

If Mitt Romney were here, he would compliment the kid on his "bling" and ask if he plans on being the next Michael Jordan. And then he'd ask "who let the dogs out?"

Steve, as I said in the post, these images are not very fair. The very next look on that girl's face could have been a smile.

But it is still funny. And frankly, I would have been kinder to Bush from the beginning had he used a modicum of humility or showed any interest in serving the people who didn't vote for him. Not for everything, obviously, but he was not elected as President of the narrow majority who voted for him.

Tired and annoyed.
