Blogger problems
It seems that my template problems only occur in Safari. They display fine in IE, so you Windows users are probably wonder what the hell I am doing. Oh well. I am still playing with this. Right now, in Safari, the profile stuff and archive information display fine--just all the way at the bottom of the page.

i think i found your problem.
you need to close the blockquote tag at the end of your "If only I could find an example of politicans using the Christian Right as a tool? Oh, wait...." post.

Oh, Good God! You are right! I had no idea forgetting to close a tag could have that effect on the template. Zalm, you are a genius, or I am an html moron. maybe both.
