Oh Denny

Maybe Harris isn't the only crazy one. From
Da Trib
:
"When asked about a groundswell of discontent among the GOP's conservative base over his handling of the issue, Hastert said in the phone interview: 'I think the base has to realize after a while, who knew about it? Who knew what, when? When the base finds out who's feeding this monster, they're not going to be happy. The people who want to see this thing blow up are ABC News and a lot of Democratic operatives, people funded by [liberal activist] George Soros.'

He went on to suggest that operatives aligned with former President Bill Clinton knew about the allegations and were perhaps behind the disclosures in the closing weeks before the Nov. 7 midterm elections, but he offered no hard proof.

'All I know is what I hear and what I see,' the speaker said. 'I saw Bill Clinton's adviser, Richard Morris, was saying these guys knew about this all along. If somebody had this info, when they had it, we could have dealt with it then.'

--snip--

'I'm sorry that [the contact between Foley and the pages] happened,' Hastert said. 'Something like this, I take the responsibility. The buck stops where I'm at. When we found out, we dealt with it immediately and the member is gone. . . . We have reached out to experts to make sure that it never happens again.'"
Shorter Hastert. "This is all the liberals and the liberal media's fault, but the buck stops here. But if the liberals had told me about foley, we could have stopped it."

That damn Bill Clinton! First he didn't try harder to catch Osama bin Laden despite Republican opposition and accusations of trying to use real world events and matters of national security to distract attention from his personal sex scandal. His penis distracted the Republicans from real policy issues, so he just should have kept it in his pants.

Clinton obviously also didn't teach the lesson that sexual relations with subordinates was wrong well enough for Republican House members to, um, grasp his, um, point. Or something. Why couldn't he show them more clearly how wrong this was? Oh Bill, if the students aren't learning, clearly it's the fault of the teacher! The question here should be "Is our House member learning?" No House member left behind, I say!

If Tom Reynolds and others can't help Hastert remember the things they tell him, clearly it is the responsibility of former President Bill Clinton. It is all too clear that Clinton didn't try hard enough to help Denny Hastert remember that a member of the Republican leadership in the House was a gay pedophile preying on subordinates. It slipped Denny's mind. He's the Speaker of the House - he's got a lot going on. Bill, you have to remind him about these things! Buy him a PDA if need be, but good God, man, remind the Speaker when members of his House Republican leadership team are gay pedophiles who are preying on subordinates! If we can't count on former presidents to fulfill these duties who can we trust?

Won't someone in the Democratic Party please think of the children and quit withholding information about Republican sexual predators in the House? I demand that President Clinton and the entire Democratic Party be held accountable!
