Today is friend of the blog, and a personal friend of SOF and myself (as well as Anglican) UBUB's birthday. I won't say how old he is (for national security reasons) but Ubub has been one of my very best friends now for many years. I can't say enough good about him, and I know that SOF and Anglican will agree. On the other hand, once the Birthday wishes are over, we can get to the ritual "airing of the grievances." :)

Hey thanks, all!
It's been a great day so far. My folks were in town this morning (last minute trip through town), so I really enjoyed spending the morning with those who borned me. Then, I dragged Lovely Ms. A through used record stores (AWESOME!) and found a live Robbie Fulks cd for cheap. Tomorrow, it's back to work, but it's all good today.
And as for how old I am, it was almost 15 years ago that Anglican and I were new grad students. Streak, my friend, you were already entrenched. It might be said that since I have had a birthday since you last did that I am catching up, but you have a fair head start.
