Gonzales and morality

Revisiting the Porn Debate: "In his confirmation hearing earlier this month in Washington, attorney-general-to-be Alberto Gonzales told senators he intended to make obscenity prosecutions a focus of his tenure as the nation's chief prosecutor."

This guy is really interesting. Evidently, he finds the idea of consenting adults having sex on film more offensive than torturing Iraqis (including kids). Anyone else find that ridiculous?

I cannot express how depressing it is to me that I a) live in a country that feels it needs to have a "torture policy" and b) that policy is not "no!".
